We agree a set of priorities for improvement each year in consultation with staff and governors. These are developed with national and local priorities in mind and having reviewed the impact of our previous work on the experiences and progress of our pupils. We consult our pupils on their views of the suitability of these priorities.
To develop a coherent approach to citizenship education that is embedded across both schools, enabling pupils to become informed, responsible and active members of their communities.
To develop curriculum teams across the federation to strengthen subject leadership.
To extend reading opportunities that promote inclusion, representation and a sense of belonging for all pupils through use of non-word texts and reader response models.
Embed the DfE SEND strategy to develop models of shared practice across the federation.
To further enhance the reading curriculum with stronger focus on questioning and interpretation of the text to secure stronger outcomes for all pupils.
To build leaders understanding of national expectations as outlined in the Ofsted framework.
The UNICEF rights of the child are strongly linked to our school priorities.
